Diabetes Force

the past 22 years, diabetes has been a huge part of my life. My husband and daughter both have Type 1 diabetes, and from the moment my daughter was diagnosed, I knew I had to become her biggest advocate. I attended every class, training, and seminar I could find, determined to understand this disease inside and out. But what I quickly realized was how little people actually knew about diabetes especially in my own community. Schools would call me daily, asking me to pick up my child simply because they didn’t know how to handle her condition. I’ve had bus drivers threaten to kick her off the bus because she had to eat to prevent a dangerous low, even when she had no other choice. I’ve had to fight for my child’s safety and rights more times than I can count. That’s why I created Diabetes Force to educate, empower, and provide resources for families, caregivers, and individuals navigating life with diabetes. I’ve poured years of knowledge and personal experience into writing these eBooks because no one should have to struggle the way we did. My goal is to make sure every parent, teacher, and caregiver understands diabetes, so no child has to feel unsafe, unheard, or unsupported. Through Diabetes Force, I hope to bring awareness, provide guidance, and make a real difference for those facing the challenges of diabetes every day. 💙
